QUALITY ASSURANCE / QUALITY MANAGEMENT

The four main components of a quality management process:

  • Quality Planning determines which quality services are necessary and provides guidance to stakeholders on how quality management will be performed on the project. It is metrics based to ensure that outcomes are measurable, thereby providing opportunity for improvement.
  • Quality Assurance helps assure that the project is proceeding according to agreed plans and process’s. It also helps measures effectiveness of agreed plans/processes. It provides a mechanism for capturing lessons learned, and identifies areas of non-compliance and opportunities for improvement
  • Quality Control consists of inspection, testing, and quality measurement to verify that the projects deliverables conform to specification, are fit for purpose, and meet stakeholders expectation.
  • Continuous improvement involves a continual systematic approach to quality improvements such as adherence to Total Quality Management (TQM), ISO 9000, Six Sigma, or other industry standards.

TMS Quality Assurance

Our TMS QA staff will perform quality assessments of products and deliverables accomplished by the Project Team.

TMS firmly believes that as opposed to simply reviewing and assessing project work products after the fact, that our team members should be permitted to be fully engaged with the Project Team as deliverables and work products are being envisioned and developed. This serves to build expected quality levels quality into the overall solution and its artifacts.
